Ashton wrote this song in 2015 after waking to an eerie yellow sky. We had never seen anything like it before and it lasted a few days. There were numerous wildfires blazing on the mainland and the smoke and ash covered the sky for hundreds of miles discolouring the sky as far as the eye could see and making the sun dim and distant feeling. It was unsettling to say the least.
